Robbery
Elkridge, 21075:
White Oak Motel, 6100 block of Washington Boulevard, Mar. 27 10:53 a.m.
An adult male victim reported he was in a room with a female subject when an acquaintance of the female’s entered the room, displayed a knife, assaulted the victim, and stole cash before fleeing with the female. No serious injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.

Ellicott City, 21043: 8600 block of Main Street, Mar. 27 10:09 p.m.
An adult female victim reported that a male suspect stole a bicycle from her front porch. When she confronted the suspect, he assaulted her before fleeing. No serious injuries were reported. Police responded, located the suspect nearby, and arrested him.
ARRESTED: Jaja Jawara Carter, 35, of no fixed address, charged with robbery, assault, and theft

Residential burglary
Columbia, 21045:
7300 block of Mossy Brink Court, Mar. 28 1:57 a.m.
A resident reported that a juvenile male acquaintance had gained entry to her residence without permission. The suspect stole a key fob before fleeing. No forced entry was observed. The investigation is ongoing.

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Savage, 20763:
9800 block of Washington Boulevard, Mar. 26-27 overnight, multiple vehicles: various items

Elkridge, 21075: 7100 block of Dorsey Run Road, Mar. 27 1:44 p.m., multiple vehicles: unclear if anything was stolen

Ellicott City, 21042: 9300 block of Furrow Avenue, Mar. 27 3:19 p.m., registration sticker

Columbia, 21044: 10400 block of Twin Rivers Road, Mar. 27 7:46 p.m., auto equipment

Residential burglary
Elkridge, 21075:
5000 block of Landing Road, Mar. 26
Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to two sheds on the property and stole two all-terrain vehicles, two dirtbikes, and tools.

Weapons violation
Clarksville, 21029:
Clarksville Pike & Great Star Drive, Mar. 26 9:18 a.m.
A victim reported that a male suspect in a vehicle pointed a handgun at him before driving off. Police responded and located the suspect vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded handgun. The suspect was arrested.
ARRESTED: Charles Ostericher, 30, of Green Bridge Road in Dayton, charged with weapon violations

7100 block of Old Waterloo Road, Mar. 25-26 overnight, tools

Laurel, 20723: 9900 block of Washington Boulevard, Mar. 26 3:20 p.m., credit cards

Ellicott City, 21043: 3000 block of Oak Green Circle, Mar. 26 4:19 p.m., registration

Overdose
Police responded to a non-fatal overdose Tuesday morning in which Narcan was administered.
