Howard County police are investigating a single-vehicle motorcycle collision in Ellicott City on Friday night that resulted in a serious injury.
At approximately 11:41 p.m. Friday, a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja was traveling westbound on Route 100 at Snowden River Parkway when the driver, 24-year-old Devin Trey Burs of Catonsville, lost control of the motorcycle for an unknown reason and was ejected.
Burs was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and is in stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
Route 100 at Snowden River Parkway was closed for approximately 2 ½ hours.
