An adult male victim reported that he was making a delivery to a business when two male suspects approached him at his vehicle. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded his wallet and keys. The victim complied. The suspects also stole cash from the vehicle before fleeing. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

A juvenile male victim reported that two acquaintances followed him home, forced entry into his residence and assaulted him and another juvenile male victim before fleeing. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

6300 block of Ducketts Lane, May 13 11:18 p.m.
Police responded for a report of a vehicle on fire at the above location. Through investigation, it appeared the fire had been intentionally set. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

Guilford Elementary School, 7300 block of Oakland Mills Road, May 11 7:42 p.m.
Police responded for a report of three male suspects entering the school through a window and exiting with various items. Police identified the suspects and arrested them.
ARRESTED: 14-year-old male of Columbia, 14-year-old male of Ellicott City, and 13-year-old male of Columbia, charged with burglary

An adult male victim reported he was delivering a pizza to the above address when he was approached by a male suspect who displayed a handgun. Three more male suspects approached and stole his license, credit card, cell phone, cash, car keys and the food before fleeing. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

SUSPECTS: four black males, all approximately 6’0” tall, one heavy set wearing a gray hoodie and shorts, another with a thin build wearing a black hoodie, and two others with thin builds wearing all black clothing

A resident reported that an adult female suspect attempted to gain entry to her home by breaking the rear glass slider. The suspect fled when confronted. No entry was gained and nothing was reported stolen.

An adult male victim reported he was getting a ride from an adult male acquaintance when the acquaintance and two other male suspects in the vehicle assaulted him and stole cash. No serious injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
Columbia, 21045: 9700 block of Broken Land Parkway, May 6 11:50 p.m.
Two adult victims reported they were approached by a male suspect who displayed a handgun. The victims fled in a vehicle. Police responded, located the suspect, and arrested him. He was found to be in possession of a pellet gun and a loaded assault rifle.

ARRESTED: William Alfred Burgess IV, 26, of Swan Point Way in Columbia, charged with attempted armed robbery and weapon violations

Drug violation
Ellicott City, 21042: Route 70 & Route 29, May 6 1:25 a.m.
Police were conducting a traffic stop when the vehicle fled. After a short pursuit, the vehicle stopped again and the driver was arrested. Police located suspected crack cocaine.

ARRESTED: Sheldon Duke White III, 37, of N. George Street in York, Pa., charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and fleeing and eluding
