Woodlawn Man Arrested for Stealing Firearms

Weapons violation
Elkridge, 21075:
Central Transport, 7400 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 29
Police responded to the business for a report of several missing assault weapons that were intended to be delivered to a firearms shop. Through investigation, police learned that an employee of the business stole the firearms from the facility. Police arrested the employee and recovered the weapons.
ARRESTED: Michael Orlando McKoy, 32, of Kirkwood Road in Woodlawn, charged with theft and weapon violations

Residential burglary
Columbia, 21044:
10300 block of College Square, Sept. 5-6 overnight
Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the residence by removing a window screen and stole a cell phone and purse.

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Columbia, 21044:
Area of Ring Dove Lane, Leaf Treader Way, Brook Way, Sept. 5-6 overnight, 10 vehicles: various items
