Twenty-One Vehicles Affected by Break-Ins

Robbery
Elkridge, 21075:
6500 block of Meadowfield Court, Oct. 1 1:04 p.m.
Two adult victims reported that an acquaintance of a woman they hired to clean their residence assaulted them and stole a set of keys from one of their pockets before both fled. No serious injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.

Commercial burglary
Columbia, 21045:
Ruby Tuesday, 9000 block of Snowden River Parkway, Sept. 30-Oct. 1 overnight
Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the business through an unsecured roof hatch and stole alcohol.


Savage, 20763: Savage Mill, 8600 block of Foundry Street, Oct. 1 4:25 a.m.
Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to an antique business in Savage Mill and stole jewelry.

Residential burglary
Ellicott City, 21042:
4700 block of Dorsey Hall Road, Oct. 1 2:33 p.m.
Police responded for a report of a suspect breaking into a residence. The suspect stole a safe, cash, and jewelry before fleeing. Police located and arrested him.
ARRESTED: Charles Barker, 35, of North Highland Avenue in Baltimore, charged with burglary and theft

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Columbia, 21044:
Sept. 30-Oct. 1 overnight
Unknown suspect(s) broke into or tampered with 21 vehicles and stole various items at the following locations: Discover Court, Sun Circle way, Guilford Road, Watch Chain Way, McGregor Drive, Hilltop Lane, Centre Stone Ring, iron Frame Way, Bright Plume, Sunny Spring, Little Patuxent Parkway, Old Annapolis Road, Misty Arch, and Bird Song Pass.
