Commercial burglary
Columbia, 21044:
5400 block of Beaverkill Road, Sept. 26-28
Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the building under construction and stole copper wire. No signs of forced entry were observed.

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Jessup, 20794:
7300 block of Assateague Drive, Oct. 2 9:58 a.m., tags

Elkridge, 21075: 6100 block of Rockburn Branch Park Road, Oct. 2 2:37 p.m., various items

Columbia, 21046: 9500 block of Glen Oaks Lane, Oct. 2 2:39 p.m., tags

Columbia, 21044: 5000 block of Cedar Lane, Oct. 2 3:13 p.m., purse, various items

Overdose
Police responded to a non-fatal overdose on Tuesday. Narcan was administered and the person was transported to the hospital.

2018 YTD Overdoses
Fatal: 32 (27 opioid-related)*
Non-Fatal: 145

*Opioid-related confirmed though autopsy. Some OD deaths are still pending autopsy results for opioids and/or other substances. Numbers may fluctuate.
