Saturday, Oct. 13th 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. the two candidates for County Executive are coming to Baldwin Hall for a Savage Community Association sponsored “Coffee and Conversation” events. While an invitation has been extended to some of Savage’s closest neighbors, this event was designed to provide the opportunity for Savage residents to express our concerns and ask our questions.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy coffee (and other hot beverages) and baked goods, reconnect with neighbors, and become an informed voter. Our goal is to be conversational, not confrontational.

How will the two candidates address our local needs? Rt 1 revitalization……preservation of our environmental and historic resources…..revitalizing older housing stock without increasing density or destroying our small town atmosphere……..needed road/traffic improvements in and around town…….school overcrowding….. quality commercial development at Baltimore & Savage-Guilford……..what happened to promised “Complete Streets” in historic area…….what resources will come to Savage…….etc., etc., etc. Pick one–add some–be there!

And invite your neighbor who might not be on our listserve.

Please use The Foundry Street entrance unless you need the ramp entrance off William Street. Door will open at 8:40. (Those in need of the ramp can enter from the Washington Street side and we’ll be happy to get your hot beverage for you.)
