Seven Commercial Robberies Reported

Robbery

Columbia, 21045: 5800 block of Stevens Forest Road, Oct. 19 4:40 p.m.
Two adult male victims reported that they were approached by three male suspects, one of whom displayed a handgun. The suspects then stole their cell phones before fleeing. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

SUSPECTS: three black males wearing hooded sweatshirts, no further description

Commercial burglary

Columbia, 21046: Ruby Tuesday, 9000 block of Snowden River Parkway, Oct. 19-20 overnight Unknown suspect(s) entered the business through by forcing open the front door and stole cash.


Ellicott City, 21042: Shannon’s Saloon, 9300 block of Baltimore National Pike, Oct. 20-21 overnight Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the business through unknown means and stole cash. No signs of forced entry were observed.

Ellicott City, 21042: Smashburger, 9500 block of Baltimore National Pike, Oct. 21 2:32 a.m.  Unknown suspect(s) gained entrance to the business by breaking a glass window. It is unclear if anything was stolen.

Ellicott City, 21042: Nora’s Kabob, 9300 block of Baltimore National Pike, Oct. 21 2:37 a.m. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the business through an unsecured rear door and stole cash.

Woodstock, 21104: Players Bar and Grill, 10700 block of Birmingham Way, Oct. 20-21. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the business through an unsecured sliding door and stole cash and alcohol.

Woodstock, 21104: Los Compadres, 10800 block of Birmingham Way, Oct. 20-21 overnight Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the business by prying open a rear door and stole cash.

Woodstock, 21104: China Cafe, 10800 block of Birmingham Way, Oct. 20-21 overnight Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the business by prying open a rear door and stole change.


Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in

Columbia, 21046: 7200 block of Lee Deforest Drive, Oct. 19 6:55 a.m., laptop, backpack Fulton, 20759: 11300 block of Harrison Street, Oct. 20 3 p.m., wallet

Ellicott City, 21042: 4600 block of Centennial Lane, Oct. 20 4:30-8:30 p.m., four vehicles: purses, credit cards

Vehicle theft

Laurel, 20723: 10000 block of North Second Street, Oct. 18 10 a.m.

Overdose


Police responded to a suspected overdose death and two non-fatal overdoses over the weekend. In both non-fatal overdoes, Narcan was administered and one person was transported to the hospital.
