Laurel Man Arrested After Fight at Monarch Mills

Assault arrest update
Police have made an arrest in an April 16 assault in Columbia. Police responded for a report of fight in the 7500 block of Monarch Mills Way and discovered an adult male victim with a laceration. The victim was transported to the hospital. Through investigation, police identified a suspect and arrested him.

Robbery
Laurel, 20723: 9200 block of North Laurel Road, April 16 6:36 p.m. A teenage male victim reported that he was approached by a male suspect who displayed a knife and demanded his cell phone. The victim was able to flee before the suspect stole anything. No one was injured. Police responded, located the suspect nearby, and arrested him.
ARRESTED: male juvenile, 17, of Laurel, charged with armed robbery
