Pizza Delivery Man Robbed at Knifepoint in Columbia

Burglary arrest update

Police received reports that on April 6, a male suspect was seen on surveillance video attempting to enter a residence and a business in Glenwood – a house in the 3600 block of Broadleaf Court and various buildings at the Cattail Creek Country Club. No entry was gained at either location and nothing was reported stolen. Through investigation, police identified the suspect and are charging Joseph Micah Burgess, 26, of Cedar Garden Road in Baltimore, with fourth-degree burglary, rogue and vagabond, and related charges. He is currently in custody in a neighboring jurisdiction.

6200 block of Bright Plume, April 18 12:23 a.m.
An adult male victim reported he was making a pizza delivery when he was approached by a male suspect who displayed a knife and demanded cash. The victim complied and the suspect fled. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
