Arrests Made in Super 8 Armed Robbery

Robbery arrest update

Police have charged four suspects in an April 8 armed robbery at the Super 8 Motel in the 8000 block of Washington Boulevard in Jessup. Two male victims – one adult and one teenager – reported that they accompanied two female acquaintances to a motel room. When they entered, the victims were confronted by two male suspects who were inside. They displayed handguns, assaulted the victims, and stole their property. The suspects and the female acquaintances fled. No serious injuries were reported. Through investigation, police identified all four suspects and they were arrested on a warrant out-of-state.

ARRESTED: Keshon Eddie Bannerman, 25, of Chateau Drive in Richmond, Va.; Jalen De’Shaun Williams, 23, of Lindlaw Avenue in Richmond, Va.; Malayah Ikaiha Shalon Reese, 18, of Briarwood Circle in Staunton, Va.; and Chevone Noelle Smith, 21, of Chippokes Road in Spring Grove, Va.,  charged with armed robbery, theft, assault, weapon violations, and related charges

Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to a medical office by cutting a window screen. Nothing was reported stolen.
