Letter to Parents from Principal Shiney Ann John
Dear Thomas Viaduct Middle School Community,
I am writing to inform you that at this afternoon’s Board of Education meeting important information concerning the administration at Thomas Viaduct Middle School for the 2019-2020 academic year was discussed. Effective July 1, 2019, Samantha Armstead will be assigned as the Assistant Principal at Patuxent Valley Middle School School in Columbia, MD. Ms. Armstead has served in the role of Assistant Principal here at Thomas Viaduct for the past year, caring for our students and effectively working on their behalf. Her positive attitude and extensive outreach and relationship building efforts will be sorely missed. We want to sincerely thank Ms. Armstead for giving so very freely of herself. We wish her every success in her new professional role as she creates new memories at Patuxent Valley Middle School.
Mr. David Brown will transition from his role as Administrator from Ellicott Mills Middle School to Assistant Principal at TVMS. Mr. Brown enjoys a rich history as a Howard County educator, and we warmly welcome him to our Thomas Viaduct family. He will join our community effective July 1, 2019.
