Columbia, 21044: 10700 block of Hickory Ridge Road, June 29 1:30-2 a.m.
A teenage male victim reported that he was walking in the area when he was approached by a male suspect. A physical altercation ensued, and the suspect cut the victim on the hand with a sharp object before fleeing. The victim transported himself to the hospital where he was treated and released. The investigation is ongoing.

Columbia, 21045: Shell, 7200 block of Cradlerock Way, June 29 11:47 p.m.
A store employee reported that two male suspects attempted to steal cigarettes and then assaulted the employee when he intervened. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded for a report that a suspect stole a front-end loader from the company’s storage yard. Through investigation, police located the front-end loader and arrested the suspect.
