Shooting injury
Columbia, 21045: 7400 block of Sweet Clover, Aug. 24 11:01 p.m.
Police responded to a residence for a report of a 16-year-old male with a single gunshot wound. The victim was inside the residence with known acquaintances when the incident occurred. He was transported to the hospital and is currently stable. Detectives are investigating to determine whether the incident involved foul play.
Street robbery
Jessup, 21075: Dorsey Run Road at Dorsey Road, Aug. 23 11:23 p.m.
An adult male victim reported he was walking when he was approached by a vehicle. Two suspects got out, assaulted him and stole his wallet before fleeing. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
SUSPECTS: two black males, no further description provided
Columbia, 21045: 8700 block of Cloudleap Court, Aug. 24 10:35 a.m.
An adult male victim reported he and an adult female victim were assaulted by two acquaintances after agreeing to meet with them. One suspect demanded cash and threatened the victims with a gun before fleeing. The investigation is ongoing.

Elkridge, 21075: Meadowridge Cemetery, 7200 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 21-22 Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the building through an open garage door, pried two interior doors and stole various power tools.
Residential burglary
Columbia, 21044: 6600 block of Martin Road, Aug. 23 4:34 p.m.
Unknown suspect(s) gained access to the property by cutting a chain link fence and forced open several doors. Nothing reported stolen.
Columbia, 21045: 6300 block of Hidden Clearing, Aug. 23 8:50 p.m.
Unknown suspect(s) gained entry by breaking a sliding glass door and stole jewelry, prescription medication, alcohol and cash.
Columbia, 21046: 8700 block of Carriage Hills Drive, Aug. 24 11:08 a.m.
Unknown suspect(s) entered an attached garage and stole three bicycles. No signs of forced entry.
Savage, 20763: 8900 block of Baltimore Street, Aug. 24 8:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
Resident reported finding the front door knob damaged. No entry was gained.

A suspect gained entry to the residence possibly through a bedroom window by fled when a resident returned home. Nothing reported stolen.

Unknown suspect(s) entered the parking lot and removed five sets of tires and rims from vehicles.

Unknown suspect(s) stole all four tires and rims from a 2019 Nissan Altima.
