Robbery and Burglary in North Laurel; Two Incidents

Robbery

Laurel, 20723: Verizon Wireless, 11200 block of Scaggsville Road, Aug. 28 7:18 p.m.

A store employee reported that two male suspects entered the store and stole two cell phones. When confronted, one implied a gun. Both suspects then fled in a vehicle. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

SUSPECTS: two black males, one 6’0” with a thin build and short hair wearing gray sweatpants, the other 6’3” with an average build wearing a hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans 

Commercial burglary

Laurel, 20723: Weis Markets, 9200 block of All Saints Road, Aug. 29 2 a.m.

Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the business by breaking the front glass doors. Nothing was reported stolen.

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in

Jessup, 20794: 8200 block of Sandy Court, Aug. 27-28 overnight, tools

Columbia, 21046: 7000 block of Gentle Shade, Aug. 27-28 overnight, tires

Ellicott City, 21043: 8300 block of Montgomery Run Road, Aug. 27-28 overnight, tire

Vehicle theft

Columbia, 21044: 10200 block of Hickory Ridge Road, Aug. 28-29 overnight
