Suspects Pepper Spray Safeway Employees

Robbery

Columbia, 21044: Safeway, 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road, Sept. 12 8:11 p.m.

Two store employees reported that they confronted a male suspect who was attempting to steal merchandise. The suspect then pepper sprayed both employees before fleeing with the merchandise. A female suspect who was with the male suspect also stole merchandise. No serious injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.

SUSPECTS: black male, approximately 45-50 years old, 5’9” with a thin build wearing a gray t-shirt and black pants, and a black female, approximately 40 years old, 5’6” with a heavy build wearing a green sweater

Laurel, 20723: 9200 block of Deer Village Drive, Sept. 11-12 overnight, multiple vehicles: various items
